Re: Random posting

I used supplyhouse.com, completeplumbingsource.com and aquascience.net/ to piece together most of it. Supply House and Complete Plumbing both shipped from relatively local locations, had cheap or free shipping, and arrived within two days. For little odds and ends, I still used The local hardware st...

shitty dealer, That would describe 99% of the used car only dealers around here. They don't have near the resources the new car dealers have, but want the same money, or more for their crap. Most will only give you their "warranty" if you pay the asking price. Once you begin negotiation, and sudden...

Re: No permission to view some?

IIRC, you need at least 40 posts to sell stuff on the forum, but not sure about viewing stuff that is for sale. This was mostly due to scammers. Since you are nearly halfway there, and have a PL, Jason might change your status for you. I don't believe I have that capability, at least i didn't see an...

but the majority of it will be going to bills and the house. I need to replace my well pump with a 1hp version since a 1/2hp can only make 25psi due to the design of the well. Had to replace the sewage/sump pump in our basement two weeks ago, ($400) and I'm accumulating the parts to replace the wat...

Re: 2002 R/T Build V2

They sell kits where you can add them to older cars/alternative locations. But if the car is made in a way, where you cannot get to the other side of the sheet metal (boxed in) you may not be able to add them where you want. The passenger Crossfire seat in my neon, has the Latch loops built into the...

Re: 2002 R/T Build V2

Side note related to infant/toddler seats: my Neon is the only car in my whole family that has a center LATCH location. That's good stuff. I think only '02 or '03 up cars have the Latch system. My '01 does not have it. Edit: Nearly every car seat and most vehicles manufactured since September 1, 20...

Video games don't keep my interest long enough when I'm at home, let alone even bothering to play them on my phone.

I have one of the original Nintendo's and a few games sitting in a box somewhere, because I got bored with it. Just never clicked for me.

When my purge flow valve was not connected to vacuum, the CEL/code would come on for that, every 6 months or so. But it never made any noticeable impact on how it ran, or fuel mileage. If the CEL didn't work, you wouldn't have known there was any issue at all. :dontknow:

Re: OMG EPIC THREAD

I agree. I think it’s rather classless to use a speech like that to promote selling a vehicle. Just as classless as selling a pair of overpriced shoes. The Ram commercial is linked above. It honors the people that serve the community in one way or another, they really don't push the truck a whole l...

Instead of bumping this, I'll kick a pail of burning gasoline on it... :shocklook: LOL at all these morons being "offended" at the Ram truck commercial. Maybe they should direct their anger towards MLK's estate for granting permission, and I'm sure the estate got some sort of compensation. Funny the...

Thanks bill! Btw when did you get hul Lohan’s neon?? And does it still have all the mods? It was just the shell with the glass and doors. Interior was stripped and sold. He parted out as much as he could, and it was a week away from going to the scrapper. I hopefully will get a suspension under it,...

I'm not seeing the one that I think your talking about, but here are some other examples. The 1gn's look a lot simpler to add a light bar. Though a '00/'01 would be as simple due to the "grille" design being similar. http://www.gotcone.com/pgallery/images/2010_rally_america/2010_100_acre_wood_rally/...

Re: LED Lightbar

I think roof mounted lights would have to have a cover over them when traveling on a public road. Otherwise it would give them proper cause to pull you over whether they are on or not. Also if they are illuminating the hood/area forward of the windshield the light will cause your pupils to contract,...

The full SRT swap would still be technically legal, since it is a newer model year, and still a neon platform. They got the Monster Miata to be Cali legal, but I'm sure there was a lot more resources there than your average neon owner has access to. Q: What about emissions? A: The Ford V8 Miata’s th...

...machined into SRT specs (Piston squirters/turbo oil return, etc.) I'm curious about this. I thought that the oil squirters were actually small nozzles that were tapped into the main oil passage across the rear-facing side of the block. Are they simply holes? They are nozzles that bolt onto machi...
