2002 has the 41te ATX. The TCM is not part of the PCM like the 2003 to 2005, but I'm not sure what will happen without the TCM connected to it.

If it is a non R/T or ACR*, both 2001 and 2002 will work for MTX pcm's.

If you have SKIM, unplug the module before installing the PCM if you find a non SKIM unit. Most base models are probably not ...
