Greenhouse big crash at Pacific Forest Rally

Pacific Forest Rally in Merritt, BC, Canada didn't go too well for us, as we suffered a pretty serious crash on the first stage

We still finished the stage, and the next stage too, until we got back to service and were unable to continue

Ouch. At least the safety equipment did it's job.

Whoa that was a pretty firm hit but glad for no injuries. Plus you finished the next 2 stages like that, just wow. Rally is intense.

Races are dangerous enough on a track with no obstacles, so they race on dirt with trees that don't move. Good.

I don't think those forest rallies are won by the fastest car, they are won by the most insane and luckiest drivers.

I am glad to hear that you are O.K., Chris.

As Bill said..... The 'safety equipment' (i.e., the car itself) did it's job - And that is something to be thankful for. :)

Man, something about watching the car at the end of that video come tearing around a corner with the back smashed like that just looked so wrong and bad-ass at the same time. I'm glad that you guys are ok! Hopefully you can get that rear clip on there in good time.

As much as I winced at seeing the damage in the video, it just goes to show how tough our cars really are. Eager to see the donor clip installed and the car racing again!

EDITED to correct grammar error.

What are we looking at in the second picture?

Great to see this machine looking like a car again!

My best guess is it looks like the trunk floor, fire extinguisher mount. Right below the strut tower. Probably don't see it in the 1st pic due to the angle.

that's the floor below the left rear strut tower. You can see where it has pulled away from the base of the strut tower
