I'm rebuilding the engine in my 00 neon I just ordered dohc diamond power pistons. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with those pistons

Either way, as long as you aren't going boost, they will probably be fine.

That's the biggest size that I could get pretty cheep. Plus I would have to bore it any ways Cuz the cylinder was rusted from sitting without a head on it in the weather And the engine that is in the car now is on its last leg like loosing oil pressure at idle and it got a slight knock when cruzing.

0.40 is quite extreme for those engines, if i'm not mistaken.

I was reading on the neon.org and they were talking bout going 70 to 80 over with no problem if I'm not mistaken some one actuly bored it 130 over but he was sonic checking the block. If I'm not mistaken

Got the pistons in today they seem to be pretty descent. For the $65 ipaid for them and the rings. The skirts are a little longer then the factory. It has more holes behind the oil ring.
