in october (i think)i am going to my first drag for mopar nationals. My car is basically stock with a k&n drop in filter, and an srt rear exhaust. Is there anything i shoud start doing to prepare for it??

Just practice, and try not to get nervous at the light. Don't go through the water box, drive around it, and don't do a burnout, just a little spin to clear your tires. Roll up to the light and make sure you pay attention so that you trip the beams with your front tires.

And remember to go when you see the third yellow light on the tree, not the green :thumbup:
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Heh, I kept doing that and getting 1 second reaction times haha. I was just working on my launch. Last time I kept leaving on the 2nd yellow and getting .39 lights.

you were shallow staging. try a deep stage for a good light, but don't leave on the second yellow, or you'll redlight.
