02 R/T run 16.6 everytime

fist time at the track all three times i ran i ended up with a 16.6 it was werid even the second time down the track i missed second need help on lauching should i trun off trac or leave it on

im not a pro but i can launch better without a traction control but its gonna take practice.

Your 60ft. time is what you want to focus on, you can shave a lot of time that way. What is your elevation?

I would leave traction control off and launch around 4k rpms, a little wheel spin wont hurt.

post all the numbers from your timeslip for all 3 runs. You can come up with the same e.t. For 3 different runs with different variables.

I ran a 16.1 with my '02 R/T stock. Let's see your numbers so we can figure out where you should work on.

Same here, but mine was an SXT. Granted that seems to be exceptional, you should be in the 16.0 area.

i put my times on a grath so i can see were i went wrong i found it really help i have gone from runnin 15.8 as my best time and my neon dont have that many pro mods yet

You need to post your times here. Basically, we need to know your 60', your 1/8th mile, and the 1/4 mile with the speed so we can let you know what you need improving on.

I went to drag with my 01 R/T without 2nd runner and went able to get 16.343 at 84.6mph. Should I be able to be faster. I had a passenger and my subwoofer setup with me witch is maybe a 250pound for the sub and a 150 for the girl passenger. plus heavy SRT mag

Thats as fast as I ran my SXT when it was pretty much stock, but with some weight removed. Lose the sub, the passenger, put on a set of stock wheels, and leave the runners open, not closed, and you'll probably see 15's.

Yeah, I was running 16.3 in my sxt with CAI, muffler, and UDP. Since then I have added a LTH, 60mmTB, lightweight rims (13#), and better tires and my best is still only a 15.99999. I desperatley need the driver mod.
