With an auto or a manual car? With an auto that's a pretty good time. With a manual there's lots of room for improvement. Also, this should have gone in the drag racing section.

Shift as close to the rev limiter as you can out of 1st, and shift around 6200 out of 2nd. Don't hit the rev limiter and don't speed shift, the NGC cars take a while to recover from it for some reason.

What was your 60'? The 60' is where the battle is won and lost in drag racing. The moderator on here, Racer12306, ran a 16.11 with a 2.3 60' by dumping the car from 5K and riding it out, another person named j0n on here got into the 15's doing the same thing. On a well prepped track you should do good. If your track is a skating rink then you're hosed unless you run a very sticky street tire or slicks but at that point you might do more harm than good.

Rev the car to 5,000 rpms and when the light goes green release the clutch as fast as possible while going to full throttle.

How did youth fb the car? Your 60' needs tons of work.

If you bogged at all that's going to kill your time. Spinning off the line is better than bogging.

I ran a 15.147 in my r/t. That was sitting at idle and slipping the clutch off the line. I had a 2.347 60'. If i would have launch on some sticky tires and not snapped an axle i could of hit 14's.
