My new axle-back exhaust setup...

Have a question about how to make horsepower going the all motor route, here's where to ask it.

It is a 304SS rear section for a JDM 350Z, does not fit USDM cars, an old demo system my bro had.

Going to get an E-Check next weekend then exhaust tear-down begins, along with custom CAI.

Not sure if I should mount it lower or keep it tucked up and trim out some of the rear bumper?

I got my setup mounted lower and i want to raise it and trim the bumper so I say raise it.. I also want to switch my tips to something like you have. I have the thicker rolled style tips and i don't like them

If your '02 is similar to my '01 rear facsia, there will be little triming needed. It didn't extend below the rear crash bar that much. When I had the SRT rear section on there, it rubbed the facsia, but I couldn't go any higher, or it would rattle against the crash bar. An R/T rear fascia cured that tho.

A lot of ppl just let it melt into the fascia, and trim it from there. Mine never got hot enough to begin to melt anything, but then there isn't a muffler in an SRT rear section. If you do decide to go that route, use some cooking oil on the tips to keep the plastic from bonding to them.
