Vogtland Sport Springs
Vogtland Sport Springs
Well I got them in and the car aligned and they are great. Stiffer than stock but not bad at all. They unload in corner braking VERY smoothly and not twitchy at all. Got about 3 fingers height left above the tires with them in. Hugs the ground very well and even on our very rough rail crossing it takes more to bottom them out then stock.
Anyone esle try them recently. Mine came in listing 40MM drop ont he box not the 30MM listed on their web site but so far looking more like 30MM installed. May settle some more yet be many have asked when I am going to lower my car and have to convince them the new stuff is in already. Get right up on it and it is obvious but just looks right now. Kind of funny for car that looks like a stock BASE model even still have the hub caps.

Not unless the factory screwed up too. Same size ends went to the same places and lined up with the old marks on the spring seats. And they perform great with NO NOISE.
Would not work on the lower spring seat te other way at all and same with the uper end. So yup they are correct as is.

I just replaced my broken Eibach springs with these. All I can say is OMFG, why didn't I see this before I bought the Eibach's?
The ride is far better, and it doesn't even come close to bottoming like the Eibach's.
So far, I give them a

Is "Vogtland" the actual name of these? I'm always on eBay looking for good deals on parts and have not ran across these... I'm planning to replace my struts/springs soon and figured I'd give them a look! Thanks in advanced.

Hmmm, possibly I got the last set?
You could contact them to see when they might have more available.
Possibly they dropped them for the neon due to slow sales.

This is the auction I used:
They don't have them currently listed for the neon ...
But, it seems they are still available from the source.

I just might go with these. I was hoping for a lower drop than 1.5 though. I don't like wheel gap.
