Did you torque the hub nuts to 160 ft/lb (217 N·m)?

Wheel bearings are about the only thing that could cause a humming/growling, unless the tires are cupped badly, or rubbing on something.

Have you tried swapping the tires front to rear?

Strut mounts will just rattle your sanity away.

They would have to be dragging badly, and chattering. Have you tried checking for bearing play by grabbing the tire and shaking the car back and forth? There have been a few cases of bad bearings out of the box.

You may have also been sold 1gn hubs instead of 2gn hubs.

Should be a Timken 512167 or equivalent hub assy.

There is this, might help may not.

I don't recall mine being any different than the one I pulled off, except for the antilock ring that my car doesn't use. If they weren't fully pressed together, it's tough to tell if they pushed together correctly when tightened down.

I would be going back and complaining, since you made note of it to the parts person. There isn't much of a way to mess then up putting them on (unless the nut isn't on all the way).

Possibly they weren't seated completely at 160 ft/lbs, and are now loose.
