Differences between exterior parts on different year Neons

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

10. The 00-02 hood will overhang the 03+ fascia, the SRT hood with the SRT fascia will also have a 1/4-1/2" gap between them when installed
Ok, little confused here, is the over hang the problem the 2000 hood creates? Or is the 2001 and 2002 different slightly from the 2000? I didn't think they were different from 2000-2002, but above is a little confusing to me. This is my hood now, would it cause an issue with an 03+ bumper?

Ugh. I hate posts anout hood gaps/overhangs/ etc. that post isn't even correct... Any 2gn non SRT hood 00-05 has a pointed hood. In short that hood will line up with an 03 bumper just fine. If you ran an SRT hood you'd have a slight gap that people make a huge fucking deal about.

Back from the dead! Can one of the admin edit the original post and delete this or amend it since it's flat out untrue and people keep bringing it up repeatedly? Idk who this Frizbe guy was but he's really fuckin' shit up.
