BMW 740 il lip on a Neon. Oh yes, retrofit time.

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

BMW 740 il lip on a Neon. Oh yes, retrofit time.

Here is a picture of my neon with the 1990 BMW 740il lip from the junk yard. Paid $26.00 and a little modification using a heat gun. It fits perfectly. There is also the functional air tunnels that direct the air from the two front holes to the rotors (I have not installed the parts yet. but don't forget them if you pull them from the yard).

Here is a link to the BMW

The air dam is bolt on but the center trim will have to be cut out.

Looks like a natural fit- hard to believe where it originated.

Yes, I just happened to walk pass it and thought that it might do. I use to have the home depot lip, I'm trying this one out. Still prefer the clean look of the home depot over this one.

I like it. Granted i'm also a fan of the BMW's. You could retro fit some small projectors or LEDs into the openings on the lip and have a truly unique front lip. DRL's? yes. yes you should.

I was thinking about projector fog lights too. That will have to be a project in the future.
