Deleting a post

How can I delete a post that I've made?

You can only delete it if no one has replied to it. Once someone has replied, it can only be edited. At least that's how it was before I had Teh Mad Moderator Powah.

Bill is correct.

It's to keep people honest. The only people who can "delete" posts are moderators after they have been responded to. I use "delete" because even when we delete them they aren't deleted, they are moved to a hidden section. Nothing is ever truely deleted on the forum.

The same goes for if a member clicks the delete button before someone responds. It's goes into the same section.

And as a side note, deleting a post is different than deleting a thread. Threads do not get deleted.

I only bring this up because someone asked me about it.
