Long time lurker

Post by HONEYBADGER007 » Wed Nov 12, 2014 1:33 pm

I've had this account for awhile but never really posted up here. (man I regret my username lol) I have an 03 neon sxt that was bone stock engine wise other than a cold air intake. I lost alot of my previous pictures when I dropped my old phone in a washer machine yay me. Anyways with the help of this forum and reading old threads I've recently finished turbo charging my sxt. I started up here by buying a turbo manifold from Thatkevin about a year and some change ago, and slowly bought parts every month or so. I had the car dyno'd by vlad at national speed in wilmington nc and I got 187whp out of it until the stock clutch started slipping. Enough of my rambling here's a couple pics if anyone's interested

PM Jason (diablo0)- he would probably change it (he did for me many years ago).

Same here, curious as well. Did you just splice into your factory wiring?

The fic is good for what it is.
If you don't have to worry about inspection I'd go full standalone
I bought the fic with intentions of road tuning myself
but i could not figure the damn thing out
I didn't know how to offset the fuel trim that were corrected from the computer
so i paid to have it tuned and it runs fine but i still have issues with it
It never holds steady afr's for me
some days at wot I'll hold 11.5 and the next day its at 13.1
way too much wiggle room for me to feel comfortable
what I've been doing lately is resetting the ecu at night so it goes back to stock fuel trims
Once i do that it runs perfect but after it starts adjusting the ltft and stft it goes out of wack
If you understand the software and can adjust it yourself it should be good
but me not understanding it is becoming a hassle :banghead:
