Well, since I was working on my shifter until 1:30a I didn't get to the lights. However the shifter shines. I am very happy with the way it came out. I would almost call it a mirror finish. I'll post some pics on or before monday.

I put the green light in the gauge. It looks really good. Thanks again Andrew.

In my design class I have been learning Pro Engineer. So I figured I would try to model the adapters that I made, as well as make drawings.

I was able to model the T-Handle adapter as well, but I have to get that from school again as I lost my flash drive.

But I did get a new injector cover from Scott. So his car will live on through mine

It's been a while since I've had any updates. I forgot to post this from a while ago.

This is my BWoody catch can setup.

You are very unique with your car. always doing little things to make it functio / run better but keeping it as close to stock as possible.

That has been my main goal all along.

The most radical thing I may do is a 2.4 SOHC with MS.

Finally have a little update. I debadged the car since the dummy at the detail place chipped one of the D's.

I think it is time for a new shift knob.

Someone posted about SRT-4 shift knobs from billet technology. I really like the looks of them. I was going to get one from pizzaboy a while back, but he didn't do engraving anymore.

So I have to make a new adapter for the M8x1.25 thread and when I have $50 extra, I'll buy it.

I hear a good wash/wax will take care of that fairly well...

Put a new battery in it a couple months ago because it sat so long the other one died. It read 2.6V when I took it in for warranty.

I think that's about it.

It's been a while since I cleaned it. And it wasn't even a good solid cleaning, just a quick exterior wash.

And yet it's still nicer than 3/4 of the shit that's paraded as a "show car" on this site. Congrats, Frank.

The girls probably won't ride in it too much just because of space.

And with a little luck the guy that bought the Monte from me last year will let me know when he's ready to sell it and I'll have the money to buy it back from him. The Neon would have to go with that situation.

Re: racer's 2004 Neon SXT

Post by racer12306 » Sat Feb 03, 2018 10:55 am

Let’s see...

The Neon returned to daily driver status in October 2015. Since then I’ve added over 50k miles. Currently sits at about 160k total miles.

Still dirty.

I did add this the other weekend though. I’ve had the phone mount for a while but added the Bluetooth receiver. Gutted out the vent so the phone mounts grips better. Really nice seemless setup that plugs into my USA Spec (iirc) adapter so I have Bluetooth through the speakers for calls and audio.
