Part Number Request: Crankshaft Keyway (2.4L)

I've lost my keyway for my timing sprocket, for my 2.4L. I'm hoping someone has one lying around, that has kicked a rod or something. I would be VERY happy if someone could help me out!? Thanks!!

It's a non-NGC 2.4L if it matters. I think it was a '96 to be exact.

you should be able to pick something up at any hardware store

its called a woodruff key and they are fairly standard , prolly get one at oreilly or autozone. shit we have a drawer of them at my shop. if you cant get one let me know and ill send you one

This. It is likely metric. Finding metric bolts is one thing, but most hardware stores haven't embraced stocking other metric stuff. Good old American stubbornness...

Mc Master Carr prolly has what you need, but they will rape you on shipping.

It is the same part number for all 2.0 and 2.4 engines. So either engine is good donor. but for as cheap as it is, I would just get one from a dealer.

I only have an '01 PL parts PDF here at work.

SOHC dowel pin is: 6100997. IDK if it is the same as the DOHC dowel pins. MSRP $0.70

Both parts ordered. Will be there tomorrow for me to pick up. Yay! I can finally get on with the build of my engine.
