Part Number Request: SRT ACR Seatbelt pass-through (Pics!)
Part Number Request: SRT ACR Seatbelt pass-through (Pics!)
This is the item many have been waiting for (including me!) I am now the man I think
Front Bezel (left or right) part #5179161AA...MSRP $26.35 each
Rear Bezel (left or right) part #5179162AA...MSRP $27.70 each
These are VSD (Vendor Shipped Direct) so no idea how long it will take to get. The engineer at Chrysler suggested we all order them now before they are gone
So all you SRT seated people, order yours today before they are no longer available

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Some more info....
This part was VSD (Vendor Ship Direct) when I ordered it. The order was cancelled by Chrysler because the part is now serviced out of the PDC's (Parts Distribution Centers). Make sure that you request Special Handling (the dealer shouldn't charge you for it).
There are 3 in the supplier pipeline as of today.

Can you check a certain parts supplier? The Naperville, IL Parts Distribution Center for Mopar is right down the street from me. I wonder if I could get parts right out of there...

There aren't any at the PDC's now. The PDC's are really just big wherehouses. The suppliers are the companies that make the parts for Chrysler. Most of the time we don't know who they are.
Just for clarification, here is how the supply chain normally works.
Company X makes a part for Chysler
They ship the part to one of the main PDC's
Chrysler packages the part and puts part numbers on them.
The parts are sent to PDC's around the country.
The parts are shipped from the PDC's to local dealers.
That is the typical supply line. When a part is VSD, it is sent from the vendor directly to the dealer. This was the case with the seatbelt pass-throughs. Now they are being distributed by the PDC network.
I don't think you can get parts from a PDC...they have to be sold through a dealer.

Doh, I thought I sent this as a PM. All I wanted to know was the very last sentance. Thanks man!

They are for a three (maybe more) point harness. You add it yourself.

Sexy, no?
Eh, limited production. They can charge what they want I guess. I'm not planning on selling these as of now. They are available from Chrysler atm, but I do plan on getting another Neon at some point. By the time I do my luck would make it so they aren't available then. So I is sitting on them for now. Sorrytitansxt wrote:Why the hell are those things so expensive?! Can I get yours?
