Sure? I dunno, just seems like there's nothing for the Pacific coast guys as far as a huge meet goes.

I was being an ass, sorry. I like being so close :D

But you are right...there isn't anything this big for 2gn anywhere. Now if we did a meet during the Mopar Nationals...

Wow, I'm so glad I got to attend what Frank calls the best Carlisle ever. I had a blast. The only things I would change would be the timing of the group photo to not overlap the burnout contest, and hope to have another autocross happen to be on the same weekend so more of you can come out to it because the autocross was also a blast!

Weekend

Don't know if anyone checked it out....but it's expensive. Registration is already closed, so if you want to take your car into the drag strip, it's $80 and $115 if you want to race. If you preregister to have your car judged by professionals, it $95. There is no show field like Carlisle. You have to park where ever you find space. There is a big free parking lot right along Rt 40, but you have to walk about 1/4 mile to get into the track. It's $40 per person for a 3 day pass if you walk in or $20 per day.

I was about the only person at the fairgrounds early Sunday morning. An employee stopped by and thanked me for all the 2GN.org people who attended. He said they were really impressed with the group. He invited us back and hoped we could attend the Performance and Style Show next year in May. I told him most people did not have vacation time/money to attend 2 shows in one summer. He said he understood but hoped we could attend with a smaller group. He added that the May show is geared more to the interests of our group than the Chrysler Carlisle show.

Also, neon people in the mid-west are more than welcome to attend the N2K event in Belvidere......next year it is being held in Minneapolis. I know there was talk about holding it in Las Vegas so people west of the Mississippi could attend, but it never materialized. The west coast people will probably just have to organize their own event.
