2001 Serial#139871. I guess that would make it an early production ACR (I think the RT & ACR was a late season package in 01).??? It's a White with just a hair under 55,000. I have had it since 2002 & 4,800 miles. The car was a daily driver for about 6 years & all highway miles up to around 49,000. Since then it has spent the winters in the corner of my heated shop & only coming out for a few miles here & there. It was pulled out of mothballs last year when a friend suggest I try out SCCA SOLO (it is trailered to events). The car is original & factory correct running in HS class. My plan this year is to slot the front struts per the factory service manual specs. & put a 29mm Hotchkis bar under the front & then go after the Mini Coopers that dominate HS. And yes it one of the true no options cars (no AC or radio). Also it is not forsale.

I checked the door tag & it's a 12-00 build date.

Added! I really thought I'd be the oldest 2003 since my car was built in July 2002. Also, there are random 03+ features missing on mine, like the bosses in the dash cover where the SRT-4 boost gauge mounts.

The last 6 actually have nothing to do with the order they came off the production line. Or the number of neons made. Apparently it is some random thing, and not meant to determine any place in production.

So basically the two sequential numbers we have here probably were not next to each other as they were produced.

But it's still cool. 8)

And my "add" was for DJ's SRT. Kind of threw me at first, because I was wondering why both of you added it again.

Oh, I was saying that I added mine.

So if the last 6 of the VIN isn't it, how do I find out?

From info I've read on the .org, there isn't any way to know the actual production number off the line. The Shelby cars were numbered, but only by Shelby, and probably had little to do with Chrysler production numbers.
