Are there MFS´ available just with headlightfunction ?
(Sure, turnlights, wiper etc. as well).

I wonder if there are some without function for rear or front foglight.

As there will always be the problem with the plasticgear inside, which will be worn from time to time, I noticed, the "actuator"-stick inside, which moves it, will wear, too.
Further the plug melts.

So I plan to go for a 300M switch and move the wiring for headlights and fogs to there, just leave the turnlights at the stick.

My idea is, to avoid the melting and wearing. Further I will win a switch near the steering wheel for anything imaginable (e.g. switch on the butterflys of the magnumintake with the formerly headlightswitch at the stick or anything else [SRT]).

Wouldn't a non-export 2GN without front fog lights have a MFS like you're looking for?

Yes, I guess.

We overhere only have that with either rearfog or rear and front fog.

At least, our MFS' would be fine.
If I could really swap to the 300M switch, it doesn't matter, if I leave the rearfog function unused as well as the headlight function. Very Happy

It's just good to know, probably I should look out for a really basic MFS.

I have actually considered the 300M headlight switch myself...

Just never really followed through...

Actually, if I had the funds, I would buy my daughter's 300M and swap the entire BCM, and wiring into my 2gn, just to have some of the nicer features...

But it is probably going to end up in the scrap yard... sad2

Yes, it has the "Auto On" lights feature.

Along with the electronic HVAC display, etc.

I imagine it would be a small project on it's own grafting the wiring into the neon, but as it is basically a nearly stripped neon shell, it would be simpler in that aspect.

My bigger fear would be the HVAC door operation. it's going from mechanical dials to some sort of electronic servo I imagine. Would out heaterbox setup be able to accommodate this?

Yeah, it would be a matter of seeing if the heater box can be made to use the 300M hardware.

If the car didn't have so many miles on it, I would just swap the engine in too. It would be a very tight fit in a neon, not to mention getting a Stratus T850, or 2.7 ATX to use.

A 3.5 would be a sweet power plant. If it gets 32+ MPG pulling that huge boat around....
