And here is an example on how good Meguiars Quick Detailer works....
On the left, 6 years worth of garage stored grime and overspray. On the right, misted with Meguiars Quick detailer...look how clean it is.... ROFL

I'll have to remember that when I wash the car Saturday (getting it ready for the trip to the body shop next month).

I've stopped using auto power washes that are touch free. Using the manual wash gets most of the nasty stuff off but you still have the residue. I will spend about $5 at a power wash. Manually spray the car down with the power soap, rinse the car off with wax/water, then do a "Spotless" rinse. Once thats done, I bring out either the Meguiars quick detail or the quick wax and finish everything off by hand. I've never been through an auto wash that actually gets the car clean.
My kids now know why it takes me so long at the power wash....lol
I took them there, and to help things speed along I had one using the "Shammy" the other spraying the quick wax and spreading it, and finally I would be the one doing the finally wipe.
The kids now "Hate" going with me to the power wash....lol

It's bad enough we have to clean up spam, let alone links that are a mile long.

A long url messes up the entire page, but I guess some folks could care less.

Too much effort, as usual. And we wonder why this country is in a shit hole.

Effort required, FUCK IT! Let someone else clean it up.

^^I'm with you. I don't like having to use the slider at the bottom of the screen to view posts that follow after a long URL.

Exactly.

Just because a person isn't a moderator, they are still part of the forum community.

Like any community, it is helpful if you put forth a little effort to keep things running smoothly.

Moderators don't get any perks from being a moderator. It's all volunteering of my time, electricity and internet fees to be on here.

The same goes for Jr Admin, and Admin.

This kit is designed for older cars built before 1976

As if the engine wouldn't bolt up to any 1977/78 big block transmissions.

Or later small block 727/904 TF's, or their later V8 versions of said transmissions, not that I would recommend it without upgrading the internals...

While i haven't checked EPA recently, it has been cars 25 years old and over don't need to be tested, so while it may not be "legal" you could basically get away with altering any 1991 and older vehicle, and still register it, where passing an E check is required to register.

So, this could be dropped into say a '91 Dakota, Jeep.... and in most places, still get license plates and insurance... As long as you keep it discrete, and don't offer any info.

You may not get said engine covered by your insurance in the event you crash though. Laughing

They didn't put big blocks in 1979 Ramchargers, but it doesn't mean it never happened after they left the dealer's lot. And in 2004 didn't need to be E checked. Twisted Evil

But that was about the same level of stealth as dropping an N/A 2.4 into a 2.0 neon. Not too many people that aren't enthusiast would even know something wasn't correct. Which was the beauty of it.

Naturally, neither 2GN or I would condone such tomfoolery.
