Followed him around and we met up at a total of probably 4 lights. Each time we were at a dig, I took him. Only time he was able to pass me was when he did a flyby when I was already stopped at a light and he was behind me and didnt have to stop completely. I'm surprised I was able to take him and I'm glad I destroyed some of his ego with my grocery getter.

Should be in Street racing section. However I do wonder, did the Firebird use the full throttle or he was just doing normal driving? Since I don't see any clue than a ATX neon can beat a Ponny like that...

EDIT: I guess OP cannot see the street racing section due to the threads number though...

I'm sure the mods can assure you it's entirely possible for n/a SOHC Neon to beat a 305.

And you're right, I can't see those forums yet.

There is a reason why you can't see that forum. You are not to post threads like this anywhere except the street racing section. I am locking this thread so you can see what I did to it and you can see the warning. Don't posts street racing stories in a non-street racing section again.

Either he had a 2.8V6 or he wasn't going full throttle. My 305 Monte will whip any near stock auto Neon, not a big accomplishment I know but that just shows you he wasn't trying or it had a 2.8 in it.
