80 series flowmaster exhaust

Did you buy a part and think it was awesome, or did you think it was a piece of crap? Let everyone know here so we know not to buy the same product.

80 series flowmaster exhaust

Post by esprocker » Mon Jul 30, 2007 3:15 pm

I was looking for an exhaust with dual outlets but didnt want to order one off the internet so i went to my local shop and all they put on cars is flowmaster so i said ok why not!

as for sound quality, i like it. At idle it has a nice low tone. when you start it up cold it is really poppy but that pretty much goes away once it warms up

as for the power from it, i cant really tell a difference. i havent made it a cat back yet its just the rear section. He used a 2 1/2 inch pipe for the rear section.

this is the only sound clip i have of it and its like a 90 mph flyby (what we do when we are bored around here lol)

Do you remember the part number for the muffler? I want to run this muffler too but I'm not quite sure which one to go with.

The OP hasn't been on since Aug 2007

*Edit Reading fail.

The part # for the Camaro 80 series are 42583 for the regular muffler, or 842583 for stainless steel.

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
