235/35-18
235/35-18
I'm currently running a set of Tenzo Cuzco V1's in the 18" x 8" size with a 37mm offset. I have had Falken FK452's in the 215/35-18 size.
I want to go to a 235/35-18 to give me more sidewall while preserving an over low profile, but allowing me to get away from the onion skin look and poke-stretch look of the 215/35-18.
The vehicle is mildly dropped on Eibach Pro Series springs, so between the drop and the wheel width and offset I am concerned about fitment.
My only concern is rubbing. Has anyone run this tire size successfully, or do you know of anyone getting away with this?

What size wheels are you guys running with the 235/40/17 tires 17x7 17x8 or 17x9?
Im using 205/50/17 on my front wheels.Provides a comfy ride but they are a bit duffy looking. And I have 205/45/17 on the rear and they dont have enough sidewall height for my liking.
I want to try a different tire size (1) that fits front and rear (2) not as bulky as a 205/50/17 but beefier than a 205/45/17

Yeah, I'm sorry if there's any confusion. I thought when I gave the tire size it was understood that these were 18" tires and rims. I ended up getting them, and except for heavy loads like four big guys in the vehicle, i get no rubbing, but I still plan to roll the fender lips in the back, and I also am going to dial in 1 deg of negative camber.FAC3L3SS wrote:....You guys are aware he's talking about 18" wheels, yes?

It's all gravy. I just didn't get why everyone is posting 17" tires when you clearly said you were worrying about 18s haha.MoparOso wrote:Yeah, I'm sorry if there's any confusion. Roll the lips and slap those suckers on! Should fill out the wells nicely.
