Have some questions about AutoX or Rally racing, like what types of tires are good or where to start for suspension, ect... ask them here.

2.0 Magnum top end swap for 2001 SE

Post by jayflea22 » Tue Sep 17, 2013 3:16 pm

I have been using my stock 2001 SE at auto/rallyX events this year and recently ran a hillclimb. I've sorted out my suspension/handling issues and would now like to see if I can get a little more horsepower and torque. I have read about replacing the intake manifold, head, exhahaust manifold and PCM with those from a 2.0 Magnum engine that were standard on the ACR and R/T. Has anyone done this and gotten good results? I'm particularly concerned about losing low-end HP and torque. Thanks for any info.
