I'm adding MODs
The list will be growing but whenever I have some free time I'll be adding some mods to the forum. Right now there are a couple that I've done but you won't be able to see, one however that you will be able to see is the AIM and Y! Messenger buttons.

Added an automatic resize feature. If a picture is posted that is over 641pixels wide, the picture will be resized to 641pixels wide, keeping the proper aspect ratio.
To tell if a picture has been resized or not, move your mouse over the image, if the image was resized the cursor changes to the four arrow "Move" cursor.
To view the full size picture, click on it and it will open a new window with the full size image. To close just click on that image and the window will close for you.
UPDATE:
This feature is only enabled when the snowflakes are disabled.

Seperated the Global Announcements, Announcements, and Stickys from the normal topics. This should make it a little easier on the eyes trying to sort through the topics in each board.

Added a PM Replied image.
From now on, whenever you reply to a PM that someone sent you, you will then see a new image next to that persons PM. It will look like this:
With this mod, you should now be able to easily tell if you replied to a PM without having to look through your sent items folder figuring out if you did or not.

Colored Staff Usernames
These past few weeks I have added a new mod to the forum.
If you notice my username (Diablo0) is colored in a dark red and other members of the 2GN staff are colored in other various colors. I have done this to prevent any confussion who is part of the staff and not.

Re: Colored Staff Usernames
An add-on for this mod... I have added a Banned User color category. When a user is banned their name will be a darker shade of gray.Diablo0 wrote:These past few weeks I have added a new mod to the forum.

Now Playing Mod - Winamp Required
This will display the current song and artist you are listening to in Winamp, in your signature...
This is a bit more complicated but more secured.
*** Note: There are some situations where your username cannot work properly (username with spaces or username in languages other than English). In that case, you can replace username=YourPHPBBusername with userid=YourPHPBBuserID where YourPHPBBuserID is your user number on that board. If you are unsure about this, check with me.

PM Export Feature:
I have decided to install this mainly because I'm going to need it soon for how many PM's I have and growing fast
You may use the feature if your PM box is coming up on the full mark and don't want to lose any of your messages. Just click the "Export" link, another window will appear displaying all of your PMs on one page ready to be saved via File > Save As.. or by copying and pasting to a MS Word document.

I've added another useful mod.
As some of you might know or can guess, a lot of people on here log onto 2GN from their workplace whenever they have downtime. In doing this at work it sometimes puts them in a bad position since some member’s signatures or avatars may be somewhat inappropriate for the workplace. To help these people avoid getting in trouble for such graphics being displayed I have installed a mod that everyone is able to use that blocks the signatures and avatars of the people you request. To do this all you need to do is click the Hide button that is below the person’s signature that of which you would like to hide.
After clicking the button the page will reload, the button will have changed to a dark background and the avatar and signature of the person you choose not to be displayed will not show up.
To unhide it all you have to do is click the same button that you clicked before and that person’s signature and avatar will be displayed again.
