The San Joaquin Valley Mopars will be hosting their annual Fall Finale on Saturday Oct. 11th 2008 in Madera, Ca. I'd like to get a list of members that are interested in going. Here is a link to the SJVM web site. http://www.sanjoaquinvalleymopars.com/index.htm . If anybody is interested in riding to the show caravan style let me know. Those of us south of Madera can meet and ride to Madera and those to the north can do the same. We can all meet in Madera and ride in to the park together.

I went ahead started a list of members that want to participate in the meet. I am also going to post it up on srtforums and srtconnection. If anybody is a member on the org. feel free to post it up over there. I would also like to see if anyone is going to want to bbq or should we just order some fast food while we are there. There are 2 pizza joints across the street (round table and me n eds) as well as a starbucks for the coffee drinkers. Mcdonalds, taco bell, and subway are up the street a little. There is also a convenience/liquor store about a block and a half away.

I'm pretty sure I can roll but dont put me down on the list just yet. I have to talk to the old lady about it first and make sure we dont have anything going on that weekend. I tend to loose track of things! Boy that's a long ass drive. Oh well, gotta do what you gotta do!

Alright so i'm pretty much in for sure, put me on the list. Gotta get the day off work, but that's not an issue.

What time do we need to be down there Robb? I figure us norcal guys will meet somewhere around or in stockton since it's on the way and only about 45 mins from here in Sac. Should work out pretty well. We'll stop and get stragglers on the way down if there are any.

If this is gonna work out everyone needs to commit to this 100%. If you arent sure, please make that clear. Last time we tried to plan something too many people flaked out and it really ruined it for everyone. I want as many people to come as possible, but please be sure you can make it before adding your name to the confirmed list.

I would like to be at the park no later than 8 A.M. That gives everyone time to do some last minute cleaning and setting up before the 10 A.M. start of the show. If 8 is too early for some of you guys chime in so we can get a meet up time that will work for everybody.

8AM would require us Norcal guys to be up and on the road by like 5AM. That's a tad early in my book. I figure you central guys can meet up at 8 and we'll plan on being down there around 9 or so, to keep wake-up times realistic and give some time to play with for those running late (there are always some).

All you norcal guys need to chime in about your plans so we can nail out a meeting spot and time.

I'm just wanting to keep a time window open. Running a strict schedule makes it pretty tough and i'd hate to leave someone behind. We all need to exchange phone numbers before we leave our houses. I'll organize the norcal guys and Robb can handle the socal and central stuff. Once each sector has all their people we'll make contact and arrange to meet in Madera.

^What's a good place to meet in stockton that's right off the freeway? Maybe a starbucks or something since it'll be a good time of day for coffee. We wont have much time but a ten minute coffee break and meet n greet shouldnt be a problem. I say we plan to meet at six thirty. That puts us in madera at 9am or if we leave stockton by 6:45. So contagious, pick a starbucks close to I-5 and we'll make it a plan.

In Stockton, Hammer lane off of I-5 has a lot of stores around it. My ex has family in the area theres bound to be somewhere for you guys to meet up at around there.

I-5 all the way down. It goes straight into madera and fresno. That's why 5 would be an ideal place for our meetup. What do you have in mind (address) so I can check into it?

Oh and BTW...

Everyone showing, pre registration ends on sept 30th. It is $20 before, and otherwise $25 the day of. I highly recommend everyone pre reg. It will also help to ensure that everyone is commited to this thing and we can keep track of who's registered and who still needs to. Thanks Wink

O.B. I-5 doesnt run into Madera or Fresno. Maybe part of the county but the cities are actually right off of highway 99. You guys will need to cut across from I-5 to hwy 99 at some point. Maybe at that freeway that runs by Manteca. I don't remember what freeway that is.

Ah ha excellent point! I guess my quick glance at google maps wasnt long enough! Looks to me like 99 runs through stockton fairly close to 5, then they start to spread out. I'll just jump on the 99 here in sac and get it over with ahead of time. Good call robb

So... Stockton guys, we're meeting somewhere off 99 now, not 5. See whats up contagious let me know what spot you wanna shoot for. Preferably toward the southern edge of stockton so no one has to backtrack.

dan a little south theres arch rd exit, it has jack in da crack, starbucks, burger king, tacobell, chevron, 7-11, and subway. both are right off da exit so take ur pik
