SOHC ITB's?

Have a question about how to make horsepower going the all motor route, here's where to ask it.

Totally missed the point.

That is illegal, regardless of who is doing it. It's stupid to put illegal activities up on a public forum.

This.

I didn't see any racism in what you posted, just if you caused someone's illegal activities to be cracked down on, (due to drawing attention to it) specifically all those well-to-do boys suddenly having to park their toys, somebody will likely pay.

Not much of an update, but there will be a vacuum block that looks something like this. It'll hold the MAP sensor and IAC. A 3/8" NPT inlet (filtered air) and 3/8" NPT outlet (to be connected to the vacuum source on the ITB's), and four 1/4"NPT ports for running vacuum accessories. The block measures roughly 5.5” x 3” x 1”.
and can be remotely mounted for a nice, clean look.

Remote mount FTW!

Edit: If anyone is wondering, a 1/4" port will work fine for plumbing the PCV to. Ever since plumbing the PCV into my remote mount IAC, my catch can does not fill nearly as bad. (it has to share the vacuum line with the IAC, cutting back on flow a little.) There has been no sign of moisture build up in the crankcase, after 10,000 miles, so it has been a win/win.

The four 1/4" NPT ports could very easily be opened up to 1/2" NPT or 3/8" NPT too. All of this could easily be changed when I go to have the final piece machined, and that's still a few months away, so I have a bit of time to play with the design.

Wow, I’ve been slacking on these. I’m guessing it’ll be a while before I get a set machined. Most of the technical details are finished and I’m putting the finishing touches on the final rendering.

Man, I'm stoked about these. I wish I had some money to put towards getting these finalized.

I wish I had money to throw at these. That's really the only thing holding me back. The first set won't be cheap.

Perfecting in AutoCAD minimizes waste.

Plus once you already have AutoCAD, every change is free.

I was just wondering last week how things were going with these. I'm very interested to see a prototype, as well.

Simply port match it, like you would with any other IM on the market. I'm sure for a little extra, you could send a template of your head's ports, and it could be matched.

They will be matched to a standard SOHC gasket (1.75" wide x 1.25" high). Anything up to 2" wide could be made, but it'd be a tight fit.
