Starting a new log for the blue car now too. I don't plan to do
anything major with the car since i appreciate the clean look it has
going now, plus the shortage of money will help prevent me from
doing anything too costly..
So far i only plan to adjust what needs to be, such as the remote
start having just a few slight issues, and the exhaust might be going
shortly to switch back to the stock setup. the side exit has no muffler
or resonator to quiet it down even the slightest bit, and as my current
DD, its just too loud.
Other than the quick fixes, i plan to do mainly unique upgrades such
as swap in the illuminated visors i picked up from the JY, maybe add
some LED turn signals into the folding side mirrors, do some LED
interior lighting in the window switches and swap the cluster lighting
for LEDs to get that blue gauge look.
Like i said, i plan to keep this car clean, so i'm not cutting the
crosshairs or painting them, this isn't going to be used for racing,
i may do some engine painting and just basic bolt ons, but i want
the respect for having a clean car, as opposed to a personalized,
modified car. we'll save the black car for that
so stay tuned, and all comments/suggestions/debates are welcome!

You are wise beyond your years. Or is it just that great minds think alike?

you guys crack me up!
i'm glad you all like the idea of me keeping the car clean. i just don't
see the point in heavily modifying two cars..
gramps - the banker, insurance, and dmv people i dealt with
yesterday all said the same thing. they couldn't believe how well
prepared i was for buying the car and how i was making all the
decisions on my own. i guess you could say i'm one of the few last
intelligent ones of the younger generations.
aaaand the spoiler is here to stay. the only way i would get rid of the
spoiler was if i added a molded pvo spoiler, and shaved the third
brake light and trunk key hole. but that sounds expensive....

this progress log is getting more attention than my black car, and all
i've done to it so far was work my ass off for 4 hours cleaning it...
i might.... be interested.... in the trunk.... i know i can afford my car
payments and insurance, but i don't feel comfortable making big
purchases just yet. with yet another car loan, i have to get back into
that mode of budgeting myself.
just for future reference, how much would you want for the trunk and
pvo wing? and shipping might be a bit rediculous.. 89021

Well, the blue car finally got some lovin'!
Today I swapped out all of my dash board lighting and I love the blue!
The A/C controls on the HVAC definitely need more lights, because
it has some really dim spots..
So I know it seems like I haven't really spent much time working on
the blue car, but I've just been working incognito.....
Here's basically a breakdown of what's been going on behind closed doors:
-Purchased a stage 1 computer!
-Kinetic Wastegate
-Turbo XS RFL BOV
-Vibrant Front Strut Bar
-Depo Radiator Hard Pipe
-Full LED lighting conversions
-Black Pillars and Headliner
Why I have all these toys lined up without installation:
-ECU needs flashing (calling tomorrow!)
-Kinetic Wastegate is getting installed w/ BOV
-BOV is only missing the block off valve, which needs gasket/screws
-Strut bar needs cutting, but I just need to get my hands on a saw.
-LED lighting is being shipped (ordered today!)
-When having my LoJack system installed, the shop snapped both
upper clips of my A pillar and bent the tabs at a 90* angle which
ripped the pillar.. It's not noticeable when installed, but I would feel
better with everything being the way it should be..
I'm trying to get this all wrapped up before I join the air force, and
I go to MEPS November 30th! More updates to come soon

Thanks, DodgeEvo!
Gramps I didn't know you had stage 1! Mine's a used one
that I got from srtjesse.
Oooh and I forgot to mention that I can't use my front windows,
adjust my mirrors, or use my lock switches for about a week. All of my
switches are in RI getting LED's wired in! Thanks Caraudioholic!!

Ewwwww.......the rest of the list is good, but I've just never been a fan of the TurboXSLeaksAlot BOV. You can make a gasket yourself for the BOP out of gasket material from your local auto parts store. Should be pretty easy for you to do.iThane wrote: -Turbo XS RFL BOV
I'm gonna go molest them....iThane wrote: All of my

Dash lights look good, which HVAC leds did you buy?

I'm going to pass on the BOV and get myself a real BOV instead
with a hard pipe. I just don't know whether to get the Greddy or
HKS setup. I love them both! I got gasket paper from srtjesse and
I'm ready to put the block off plate in, but will the screws from the
old oem bov work with the block off plate??
Don't molest my switches I'm so excited to get them! They
should be here some time this week, and when I install those I'll
update this log with everything I've been doing. I've just been
kind of lazy I used the leds you suggested in your how-to, but
theres a few dark spots so I'm just going to add a few bulbs.

Got some D2 coil overs for the blue car!
Before: (stock struts with Mopar springs)
After: (D2 Coil overs with the perfect 'hint' of camber)
Couldn't have done it without my friend Jesse though (srtjesse) and
Chr1s who just texted us every 10 minutes asking for pictures or if
we were done yet... lol
I also got Jesse's STS 75% reduction shifter with solid bushings and
boy does it feel good..
Pictures of the full black interior are to come once I get the visors done.

thanks guys! I honestly wouldn't mind going lower.. But if I did I
would probably just throw it on bags. I love it where it sits now
though.. In my opinion, this is how OEM should look!

Thanks! I can actually adjust the height on these to go even lower,
but I'm going to ride like this for now. I love it where it's at!
