I figured since I'm doing the full SRT-4 swap into my 2001 R/T I might as well do the brakes right? Well, I know the SRT brakes are bigger as a whole so are they just a straight set up or would I need other things such as..... SRT wheel bearings and hubs?

You have to swap the entire front knuckle, and possibly shorten/rethread the tie rods, or swap in an SRT rack.

Not sure on the tie rods tho. The SRT and R/T both have the slower ratio rack. But you may still need to shorten the tie rods, as AFAIK, the R/T uses the same knuckles as the ('02 up*) regular MTX cars. The newer MTX cars got the same bearings as the R/T's

*Only difference is wider wheel bearings.

Another option, with more benefits, is to use '91 to '94 Shadow/Daytona/Le Baron knuckles. You can get 11" rotors if you get the right Daytona brake parts. (Needs to be the 5 x100mm bolt circle)

You gain better steering geometry, especially if lowered, and bolt in wheel bearings.

The down side is they are harder to find than SRT/PT knuckles. You will need a thin shim for the strut clevis also.

My rack in the RT is bad anyway so I have an SRT PS Rack, I know they have slower turning but since I already have the rack what else would be required? Thanks by the way!
