Which one is the 01-02 R/T? Probably the more expensive one?

Of course. Thanks for the link.

Hey, one more thing kind of of subject but body related.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/00-05-DODGE-NEON-PASSENGER-SIDE-FENDER-R-T-SE-SRT4-SXT-/380882918118?fits=Make%3ADodge%7CModel%3ANeon&hash=item58ae641ae6&vxp=mtr

Are the fitment on these good?

it's a chinese knock off. expect mediocre fitment, thin flimsy metal and a finish that will probably start rusting through in a few years. That said, if you don't really care about the car it should be an OK replacement.

The Certifit fender I had fit well enough, but what happened with that one was it stress cracked in the rear leg. It was bolted on with all the hardware too. But that was the only spot that rusted, obviously...

You could possibly reinforce the rear leg with the heavy foil lined tar like sound deadener. It might keep any vibrations, etc to a minimum.

I also took the time to paint the inner side with rusty metal primer and top coat before giving it up to the body shop that did the repairs. So I'm sure that helped with the rust issue.

The hood has begun to rust, but only where the body shop painted it, not on the underside where I painted it. I have gotten my $50 worth out of the hood. And as far as weight, the hood was just as heavy as the oem hood.

Bottom line: If you go cheap, do a bit extra so it lasts a bit longer.

FWIW, I coated the crap out of the inner side with rust o leum primer/top coat. A good days worth of spraying heavy, letting dry and hitting it again/repeat. As far as rust, it worked well.

Great info you guys, thanks

Or should I go this route.. Already painted silver but the mounting looks messed up a bolt broke. $90 shipped.

Not sure what that piece is that sticks out. I don't remember that when I took a fender off. Can anyone point out what it needs for it to be mounted to my car properly?

Yep it needs to be there for stability. I think there are two tho. the rear one appears to be torn off.

Blah. Was looking to get an air dam for it, but low and behold look what I discovered:

Passenger side ^^^

Drivers side^^^

As you can see no lip to mount the air dam. Its literally all gone almost all around as you can see. Not sure how this will affect cooling of the car. I do know the air dam aids in cooling. Not sure its worth getting re-painted at this point.

Another generic picture showing how the shielding is gone that usually goes under the hotside pipe that leads to the intercooler
