I have a question for all you manifold folks out there. Has anyone ever successfully merged velocity stack type intakes onto one of the four banger engines in our cars?

I was just thinking that the only way to make it happen is to have each "stack" breathing on its own, with its own air flow sensor. But that presents an additional problem in that the computer would have to have additional programming in place to handle four separate intake/injector sets at the same time.

Just an insane idea. Shocked

You can google itb (individual throttle body) and neon and find some useful links.

That was with one MAP and TPS sensor. A vacuum tube connected to the port side of each TB provides the MAP sensor a "vacuum source" from all 4 TB's.

There is just enough manifold runner there to mount the injector and a flange for the TB. You keep the neon fuel rail.

Low rpm driveability is going to suck. Unless you get much smaller TB's than that.

There is als a You tube video of a different member driving thier ITB set up on ther street. IIRC, it was esteinmaier.

I may be wrong, as a lot of neons have passed under the bridge since then...
