2002 Dodge Neon R/T

My current DD is a '96 XJ. Creepin' up on 240K. The original owner was my aunt, so it's been in the family for twenty years. I really like it, but it can be tough keeping up with all the little things that quit working right on it. After the lift and 32's, the gas mileage sucks, too.

Hey All. Back from the dead... I thought I would check in as well. I think I have found some time now the kiddos are getting a bit older to dust off the Neon and figure out what the hell is going on with it...

Still have the 01 Black Bitch
Just picked up a 2016 F-150 Lariat as my DD. Now looking at doing some updates to it.. (Lord Help Me... my wife will probably kill me... LOL)

No fun. I ended up selling my neon. I miss it a lot, but its replacement was fun. I traded the neon for a 2008 Subaru WRX STi hatch. spun a rod bearing/had a cracked ringland. Built the motor up with forged goodies and ended up selling the subaru for a truck. I do still miss the neon though.

I'm still around, from time to time.

Carlisle is what I look forward too, and the meets. I'm planning one within the next two months.

Sold the SXT and bought a Dart. Still have the SRT. I now have a company car, so the Dart pretty much sits in the garage.

12 years for me!

I should probably change my signature too, that Neon was sold about a year ago.

Hasn't there been any nice days that you could take it out? I have taken my C6 out a handful of times due to getting rain that washed all the salt off the roads. Nice to get the fluids circulating and the battery charged with a nice cruise!

I work seven days a week so no time for that, unfortunately.

meh, when I think about the problems it had, and things that needed fixed (bodywork) I realized I would be better off getting a clean sxt and starting over, knowing what mistakes I made in the past, and things that I did that I would hands down do again (trunk interior removal, powdercoated parts, GOOD QUALITY stainless exhaust components) Thing of it is, I wouldnt have the money now to actually maintain a show/daily driver the way I used to.

Exactly. I've modded mine so much that it can never be a DD again. Losing my company vehicle benefit would really hurt. Run Away
