2004 SXT 2.0L SOHC stock headers*probably going to replace at the same time as exhaust*, K&N Downpipe intake.

First off I'm wondering if the popular dual exit exhaust systems (like magnaflow) are going to impede on the body of the car (which is completely stock), and if they don't does it look goofy with the stock rear bumper?

Second, if i dont buy the headers immediately am i still going to see a greater air/fuel mix and potentially get a little bit of throttle response in return? but that is less important

Third, Can you guys give me some good exhaust system recommendations beyond the obvious (Magnaflow, dc sports, bla) or 2gn.org members that have good examples of single/dual exit exhaust setups for 03-05 sxt's?

Thanks a lot, i come here a lot for questions and i know i should start to answer more, but i appreciate the help!

Well there is only one "header" on a neon, so we'll get that out of the way first. There are some folks that get anal about that, just saying. So be prepared for being corrected about saying *headers* when talking about a neon Laughing

Just a header and "performance" air intake aren't going to affect your fuel mixtures. On a bone stock 2.0, you might see a small amount of throttle response, but you will get more sound from it than anything else, giving you a pseudo sense of having more power.

There are a few pics/ideas here for exhaust set ups: http://forum.2gn.org/viewtopic.php?t=45190

Being an '04, you may be able to trim some of the rear fascia. My '01 rear fascia barely went below the rear crash bar, so there wasn't much you could do with that, other than buy a now hard to get rear lip.
