Time of meet: Noon

Location of meet: We will meet here at the Regal Cinemas parking lot.

Directions:
From EAST: If you're coming from the Columbus area, the quickest route will be to take I-70 West until you reach I-675. Take that south to Exit 17 at North Fairfield Road. You will want to turn left onto North Fairfield Road. From here you will go through 4 lights, and at the 5th (Jared's Jewelers on the corner), turn right toward the mall. Make an immediate left onto Fairfield Commons Drive, then pass Red Robin and Fox and Hound Pub and Grill on the left, taking the first left after the Fox and Hound. From there you will be in the lot.

From WEST: Directions are the same except you'll be taking I-70 East.

From NORTH: I'd imagine I-75 will be the quickest way down from Toledo. Once to Dayton, take I-70 East for a few miles, then get on I-675 South. From here, directions are the same.

From SOUTH: I-75 North will be your best coice. Once to Dayton, get on I-675 North. The only difference here will be to take Exit 17 and turn RIGHT onto North Fairfield Drive. From here you'll go through 3 lights, and the 4th (Jared's on the corner) will be your turn into the mall.

For some reason the marker on Google maps is not correct for the theater, so follow my directions (if you don't have GPS) and the worst case scenario would be that you would just drive on the ring around the mall and you'd eventually find the theater.

FOOD!: We will hop over (could even walk) to Red Robin (although hopping over to Ihop would be funnier). You'll pass by it driving to the meet location, so I'll save myself posting the link. I figure we'll eat whenever the group gets hungry.

After the meet and food, we can hang around more, or if you're dead set on cruising I won't stop you.

Yes, I am not sure the other place is still there. That shopping mall area seems to be dying as a lot of restaurants there have closed by now.

Glad that you checked though. Now you know how I've felt in the past when meets up your way have been posted; as much as I would like to go, realistically, too far away.

I'm hoping that my SRT will be back from the body shop by then. If not, I'll have to use my company car. bandhead

Meets near me never happen. CokeDoctor and I seem to be the only members near the Buffalo, NY area that are willing to do anything. The last time I had a meet in NY is when I did a parts delivery with "CokeDoctor" aka Justin to Albany, NY almost 10 years ago Shocked
I would be more than willing to drive atleast 3hrs away from home for a quick 1 day meet, but 6hrs would end up needing an overnight stay for some sleep for me....lol

Is this "rain or shine"? I hate to tempt fate but the National Weather Service is predicting a small chance of rain on Saturday.

Chance of rain or snow over here... :/

Not that it would stick, but being cold and wet makes for a less than desirable outdoors experience.

Although it isn't like we haven't spent time sitting inside a certain pizza shop for hours for a meet while it poured.

Other businesses may see things differently, but I guess as long as you're a paying customer, they shouldn't mind.

I still won't be able to make it, though.

If I could, I would just slap on the snow tires even if they were calling for accumulating snow. Wouldn't be the first time I've traveled long distances in poor weather conditions...

^^Wish that you could make it. You've got to meet up one of these times!

I won't drive the SRT in inclement weather but will still drive there in the company vehicle if the meet is rain or shine.

Notice I never mentioned putting snow tires on the neon...

Although I do have a nice set for it...

Rain wouldn't keep the neon from being driven. Salty brine drenched roads would though.

If they wouldn't salt, I would blast through the snow. I ain't proud. ROFL

I can be there either way. But I am obviously the closest one. Currently, it looks like there may be rain, but it should only be short periods of time. I doubt that they will use salt on the roads already. It is not that cold yet.

I also doubt they would salt. If it was a measureable amount of accumulation and temps around 32ļF all day, yeah, but not mixed precipitation.

The difference 4 1/2 years makes...

As I posted, I will be there if I'm not the only one to show. The weather will dictate which vehicle I'll be in though.

How about a roll call?

I'll be there. I am not sure many of the others frequent the forums enough to see an update in time.

The latest forecast only has a chance of rain in the morning with around 50% likelihood of rain. So there is a good chance that we do not even get any rain.

I hate to do this but, with the current radar, I'm going to have to skip the meet. I'll definitely make a spring meet, for sure.

Well, all I could go on is the NWS radar and it didn't look very good when I posted earlier. It is now 11:28 a.m. EST so it's too late for me to drive now. Next spring for sure.

Had some light snow here earlier, but nothing that stuck. it's a bit chilly, but overall not bad. Hope you had/are having a good time!

The problem with radar, is it doesn't always show what's making it to the ground.

It ended up being fine. The snow stuck on the grass and higher lying areas. But by 9-10am it was all gone. It was cold but not too bad. It was fun seeing Amit again; it had been a while.
