are you using the old pistons? if so you will need to clean the ring grooves. the ring should feel loose in the piston and it will go all the way into the piston when the ring compressor is in. to clean the pistons you will need a ring land cleaner some people call them piston ring groove cleaners. ...

i don't think he was very skilled (personal opinion) looks like he was trying to turn away from the guard rails almost like a panic like any of us average drivers would do. i would thank dumb luck that nobody was hurt

your ignition needs to be on your engine doesn't need to be running. you shouldn't update the firmware with your engine running anyway

probably a skim issue. if that is the case you will need to swap the skim module and the lock cylinder from the srt as well

if it is only 1 cylinder that is misfiring then swap the bad with one of the others. so for p0302 swap #2 injector with #4 it sounds more like a multiple cyl mis. and it is pretty uncommon for all injectors to go out (even intermittently) at the same time. I would think something more along the line...

if you are talking about a true flash (similar to a video game patch) then you need a special computer terminal (I'm not sure what makes it special) to actually download the flash. if you are talking about programming the VIN/Pin you need to have access to DealerConnect and have access to the PIN in...

Think of it as buying a new operating system. the CD has all the programming on it all ready (just like the PCM) but you need a secret key (the skim/VIN) to prevent people from illegally using the software (stealing your car). programming a vin/skim in a new PCM on a Neon is a cake walk if you have ...

treadstone's website has all the information on this manifold and thread size is listed under the features if you look around that site you will find turbo manifold bolt kits for an srt-4 I'd imagine they work just fine.

I used the stud kit for the srt4 off of treadstone.com there were some issues but I think my fitment problem was due to the turbo and not the bolt kit itself EDIT I also have a 2001 PT head I don't know if that makes a difference so obviously I am not using the sohc turbo manifold from ASP. There wa...

I agree but I don't have much luck when pulling apart ngc connectors so my preference is to cut, test, solder, double wall heat shrink, done. But everyone has their own ways to skin a cat

It's probably cheaper to run a Harlan switch and a relay. There is a post in the how to section about running the mag with the vafc. I'm sure it will tell you if you need the tach adapter. I was told at one point you didn't need them for the safc but I installed the adapter with it anyway. All my in...

Just to verify I guess you could clip the #4 ground wire very close to the PCM put your noid light there to triple check the driver/wire. If it does light up (which I doubt it will) jump the clipped harness end of the wire to batt ground, then check for a bright test light at the #4 connector. This ...

i find it easier to stick my head through the window hole to put the door panel back on. the clips that hold the metal rods are reusable. turn the plastic tip 90* and pull rod out of the clip. to install, put the clip in the plastic clip hole and turn the tip 90* towards the rod. (i know none of thi...

you can get a window knob puller set here i don't know off the top of my head but there is probably a screw in the door cup (the thing you put your hand in to pull the door closed) the rag trick only works after you get the metal clip out of the window crank handle. you can use a small flathead, a 9...
