OK guys update. I cleaned under and then re-tightened all grounds I could access. I also removed and cleaned the negative terminal and cleaned the positive with a brush. I saw this happen to somebody in real time at a rest stop. Car overheated so he popped off the cap for some reason, to put coolant in I guess. I'll never forget the screams.
