Meh, just because you ban them doesn't mean you need to delete the post.

No, but the humorous comment from BRR made my not immediately banning the OP worth it.

LOL

I was going to ban the OP for being a spammer but thought that I would wait and see if any long-time members might comment first.

I'm envious that you were able to do the installation yourself. I paid a Chrysler technician to install my Mopar Performance ones in his private garage.

Looks good though. C'mon good weather, let's get these cars some road time! :gears:

Re: Dodge Dart news

Since you mentioned Subaru, two work vehicles ago, I took delivery of a Subaru Forester from the Lafayette, IN plant. After having Japanese Subaru Imprezas in our fleet prior, I looked forward to having something American-assembled to drive. What a disappointment. The car drank oil and ate light bul...

Re: Dodge Dart news

All I know is that, after I made a special trip to the auto show in Detroit for the Dart introduction, a member of the SRT team told me that an SRT version was definitely coming. Big mistake for FCA to not deliver on that promise.

Toyotas are assembled in Georgetown, KY …
Toyota = boring and bland.

The Germans at DCX thought that the Caliber was what Americans wanted- WRONG. Never a Neon replacement, a dud from the start. Fugly too.

Re: Dodge Dart news

Have you looked at the Chevrolet Spark or the Toyota Yaris ? They're both "fugly" but sell well. The Neon was a great car, but they're long gone. Spark will be gone soon but at least it was assembled in the US. Toyotas? Nope, never. I still see plenty of Neons on the road. In fact, I have a nice on...

Re: Dodge Dart news

Ho hum. I would still buy one anyway if I were in the market for a new car and this model was still being built. If "Moparites" were upset with FCA naming it "Dart", would they have been more happy (and would the model been easier to market) if it had been named "Neon"? I still think of it as a 3gn ...

Thread resurrection... My Ziebart Diamond Gloss and rustproofing warranties ran out a few years ago. Work quality there had been diminishing for the last few visits so I broke down and bought the Zaino products. I hope to figure out the instructions while I am on vacation in a few weeks. Wish me luck!

I would HIGHLY recommend a manual transmission swap to your 2nd Gen., it will make a WORLD of difference in the enjoyment of the car. I don't know if you meant me or not but, if you did, I lost my first 2nd Gen SXT to an illegal alien who broadsided it back in 2003. I had another SXT (2004) but sol...

The 80's? I watched it in the 60's! LOL

Funny thing is, my dorm mates my first year in college made fun of me for listening to Monkees LPs (1978). Flash forward to the 80's when MTV rebroadcast the television show, and almost all of the LPs made the Billboard charts again.
