Re: The Official eBay, Craigslist, etc Links Thread for Cars

Thanks for the nice comments about my "investment." Some have called me crazy! The only difference with my SRT is, if it were sold (after I'm dead), I would think that a prospective buyer would take into account that only Mopar parts have been used and (except for the coilovers, CAI, BOV and rust pr...

Just saw that eBay ad WTF! Over $30k! Had a shop do everything! What a list though of work and modifications done by a shop!
It does happen... Estimating near $25K in parts and labor from shops in almost 15 years for my SRT. [/off-topic]

Just noticed that they added another charge for 36 cents for yesterday! I have no idea what that is for but I'll be disputing both charges with my issuing bank once they are out of pending status.

Re: Avoid Grubhub

I have used Pizza Hut delivery on my one day off a week as I don't like to leave the house and drive anywhere. Using Grubhub was a way of getting a little diversity in ordering- I knew that it would cost more than driving to the individual restaurant. I just wanted to give everyone a head's up about...

Avoid Grubhub

I ordered Taco Bell through Grubhub before 2 p.m. this afternoon with a scheduled delivery time of 7:15 p.m. According to their tracking system, the order had yet to be prepared by 7:30. Tracking eventually showed delivery to my house around 8:30 but I received nothing. I was sitting by my front por...

Part Number Request: SRT-4 brake (and fuel lines)*

I would appreciate someone directing me to this if it has already been posted. Otherwise, a list of parts and their numbers will help. Also, anything related to replacing OEM brake parts (minus calipers and pads- already did these). Thanks in advance. :D

Is there another '00 that you could snap a pic of its label? Maybe you could provide your VIN with an explanation and they could fab one.

Re: Part Number Request: 2005 SRT-4 tire pressure decal

Back from the dead... Right after my last post, I ordered from www.ecsvin.com. They are licensed by FCA to make custom reproduction labels. The label I purchased wasn't cheap but it's an exact duplicate of the OEM one. I also ordered some of the VIN stickers to put on my new trunklid and on the insi...

Re: Random posting

I had to make a supermarket run on Thanksgiving Day. Since I seldom get to drive the SRT, it was really fun to have it out, especially being out of town where few see my car (it was scheduled to be at the dealership there in town the next day). A couple of teenagers really checked out the car as I d...

No. The power steering pump was sent back to the factory for a return of the $50 core charge. The dealership disposed of the rest.

Re: Midnight_Rider's progress log

The tech told me that he usually doesn't see many problems with the bolts that I couldn't replace. Perhaps my having Ziebart undercoating from new helped? I don't know.

I feel very fortunate to have OD as a source for parts information. His list was a terrific guide! =D>

Factory markers on engine parts

Does anyone know what kind of marker DCX used on the power steering fluid reservoirs? My OEM one had a white line on it, starting from the firewall side and going forward to the radiator side. The line got thicker as it went. I think that it might be some kind of grease pencil. Any ideas?

What did you end up doing about the discontinued bolts? My tech was able to reuse the OEM ones. I spent weeks online, trying to ...

I deleted the post since I found the part number through my local dealership. According to the dealership, the number associated with my VIN is 4891519AE.

I know nothing about the link you provided from MP. Since I want to keep my stock AC, that link wouldn't have helped me. But thanks anyway.
