I hope that Frank's car knows how lucky it is to be taken care of by someone who appreciates Neons... and not by someone who thinks of them as disposable.

Re: Midnight_Rider's progress log

Exactly. When I had Progressive insurance on my '02 SXT, I was told by my agent that if I lived inside of the I-465 beltway, my premium would jump quite a bit and this is a difference of just a couple of miles.

By the way, this is NOT an endorsement of Progressive as they are crooks.

Re: Midnight_Rider's progress log

Thanks for checking in! The odometer hit 87K today and the power steering reservoir is still full. Now the car needs a bath- not washed since July 13th at Carlisle.

Re: Midnight_Rider's progress log

I hadn't posted about my power steering issue on this thread. Club members (especially Mario and BRR) came to my rescue at Carlisle by fixing my power steering after the car decided to blow out all of the fluid. Everyone helped with morale. I just checked the reservoir again and it is still at the "...

Condition of vehicle should not keep you from attending. Cars there run the gamut from non-running to pristine, everyday to rare. Please consider attending and remember to list 2gn as your club when you register.

Re: Random posting

So sad when a car is treated that way. This is why I have always been so OCD about mine. I hope that it doesn't get parted out. Or, if it is, you get the Stage kit.

Good luck with the potential job, Jerry. :)

Re: Random posting

Car value depends on who is looking to buy and what a seller is willing to accept for a sale. I think that you should check it out- you'll just be out your time if you decide to walk away. I agree with the statement about wanting to keep an SRT whole and not parted out. I bought mine with the intent...

No rust then- a plus. I will confess to not knowing what to do with boost issues if that situation ever came up with my car so I'll give him that. Sounds like you should investigate further. :-k

Re: Random posting

Fewer miles than mine- a plus. Shift forks are still available so that would be fixable- another plus. Hail damage? Well, that's another story. A lien? That may make the sale more difficult. How many owners previously? I agree, I have seen used S3 kits (or parts of them) on eBay for $2,500 to $3,000...

Gramps, sucks that you had to deal with that mess. I plan to get a Ezpass for next year. I'll remember to have that done ahead of time next year. The customer service employees at the Turnpike Authority that I spoke with last Thursday were very friendly and extremely helpful. I ended up paying the ...

I'll post this here since it is the only 2019 Carlisle thread on the boards... I got a reminder of my trip in the mail today, two different violation notices from the PA Turnpike Commission. I had registered online for Toll By Plate before I left home for the trip but, contrary to the Turnpike's web...

Call me crazy, but what would you guys think about doing a monthly meetup? We don't get to see each other all that often, and I'd like to change that. I don't know why it seems like, as I've gotten older, it gets harder to set aside a day to go somewhere. I get one day off a week (Saturday) and I w...

I don't know if it was the pressure line or the return line. I do know that I was told by the California dealership that sold the rack to me that it was the last new SRT-4 rack so I doubt that I could find another new one. I was promised by the service manager at the Missouri dealership that his tec...

Jerry, everything you said was good- I made the mistake of not chatting you up more. The weekend went by so fast... I was just getting started relaxing and catching up with everyone and then, poof! About four years ago, I had a new steering rack installed when I drove out to Missouri for several day...
