Sorry to read but glad that you will be sticking around. Off-topic... I can't imagine not having a Neon (well, I've been driving them since 1994).

Yes, I could have bought another SXT (I had already owned two of them) and, yes, I know that regular is cheaper than premium. And your point is what? You asked a question and I answered it.

Re: If you could have another car that's not a Neon... which?

Who in the **** bought a Neon SRT-4 for great gas mileage ? I did. I figured that I would get mileage less than but similar to the non-turbo Neons I had been driving for years and I haven't been disappointed. Usually get around 27 MPG but have broken 30 many times (especially during the to and from...

Re: thomas_w's log

It must be the 1GN's then as my 2GN OEM's are still crystal clear after 13 years. On the other hand, the OEM's on my 1GN were still crystal clear at 8 years when I traded the car.

Re: Random posting

Spotted today- a 2001 R/T in the parking lot of the Avon, IN Walmart (really needed to be waxed) and, about an hour later, another 2001 (not sure of the trim level) that drove west as I was northbound waiting at a stoplight (this one was shiny!).

Re: Dodge/Chrysler News

Rest in peace, Mr. Sergio. As much as I didn't like all of the buyout talk he kept bringing up, I certainly wish that he could have had his planned retirement later this year.

Midwest auto upholstery shop

If anyone is looking for a good auto upholstery shop in the Midwest, I recommend Indy Auto Trim in New Palestine, IN. The owner, Jim Matthews, did a great job replacing a ripped vinyl seat panel on my SRT-4 today. Indy Auto Trim 25 W. Mill St. New Palestine, IN 46163 317-861-7048 jim@indyautotrim.com

Re: Happy Birthday David!

Thanks again, everyone. Yeah, the stylists at Great Clips have been urging me to shave my head myself but I'm just not coordinated enough to do the "mirror in the mirror" trick to get my neck appropriately. The worst things is that, lately, my hair has started growing more quickly so I have to get a...

Re: Happy Birthday David!

Thank you! I got a haircut at Great Clips today and, after leaving, noticed that the stylist had charged me for a "senior haircut" ($3 less than the $14 normal charge). I guess that old age sometimes has its benefits.

Good for you! I was telling the owner of the upholstery shop yesterday about when you and I spotted the Carroll Shelby seatcover material in the swap meet and how that would have made a Shelby vehicle owner extremely happy.

Went to the new dealership on Saturday to have the Stage kit wiring harness loom moved to the correct position (the tech at the old dealership had routed it incorrectly, contrary to documentation I had provided at installation time- DCX's instructions and 8 1/2 X 11 color photos that I had printed f...
