Re: rode the tail on 4-11-09

I was the only Neon on the tail this weekend. I would like to see a gathering of Neons meet at the Tail of the Dragon one weekend. If you have not been on it , it is well worth the trip. Nice views, and right now great water falls due to all the rain. I am for sure going back, and doing the other r...

if you change your mind on the progress i have a used set for sale.. 2"drop, not much diff from the 1.4 1.6 your lookin at gettin, 1/2 inch more. Only problem is that the hp blues are warrantied for a 1.5" drop, not 2". 2" is a bit much, and will blow any strut in no time. Also to the OP you can ch...

You need to check the back struts for the mounting tabs. If you don't have them check out the victor's site(guy on the .org), if he is even still in into.

I had the hp blues and the eibach springs. i really liked it. Car handled the bumps and everyday driving pretty well. I believe there is a vendor on SRTforums that is having a sale on some Coilovers. I still oppose using a 2 or 3 way speaker. Its like using an all season tire. It works for both, but not well at either. Also don't use 6X9's if you can, use a sub if you want bass.

What type of music do you listen to? That would help pick out the best setup.

In my R/T I ran the polk 6.5 components with a 10" Diamond Audio sub(awesome sub if you like quality not boomy). I ran this all off a great hifonics 4 channel amp that put out 75 RMS to the components and then when I bridged the other 2 channels it put 350 rms to the sub. The sound was awesome and b...

Diablo Dyno'd his SRT swap with the R/T muffler and it hardly made a difference. That is with a turbo car that could stand to not have the muffler. What I am saying it that the stock R/T muffler is one of the best mufflers for you car. Exhaust on these cars especially the R/T or ACR is for sound onl...

I had them on the old r/t and they were great! Installed them on my stock srt, and that has so far been the best mod for this car. The lift throttle steer on this car was SCARY! This has pretty much gotten that back in control. To be honest I have yet to put coilovers or even just springs on the car...

From crutchfield: Component speaker systems use separate woofers, tweeters, and crossovers to send out detailed, dynamic sound. The crossovers send the low frequencies to the woofers and the highs to the tweeters, freeing up each driver to play with incredible clarity. Component speakers offer the l...

Do not waste money on 6X9's. Get a good set of components for the front, then a nice 10 or 12 inch sub for the bass.

I think the best I did in my r/t was a 9.98 in the 1/8(no 1/4 in the area) mods were intake, MM, Exhaust...I think that was it.
