Buzzig noise

So returning from Orlando last week I noticed a buzzing noise emanating from my car that was not previously there and that's not my exhaust lol Its seems to vary with speed of car (rotational) not engine RPM so I have ruled out an exhaust leak or blown muffler/silencer (I have no catalytic converter...

So it wasn't the IOD or alternator. It was a gremlin (aka my dad)! It was simply miss communication. Last night my dad took out my battery (unannounced to me) to put it in my moms Neon to see if her battery was the problem on her car. When he put mine back he didn't tighten the positive cable all th...

Could be simple but...

This could be as simple as a dead battery but I'll give you the low down. Was driving back from work today (very short trip, 3 miles) and my gauges went berserk. The speedometer was bouncing around and the dummy lights were blinking sporadically. This occurred about 2/3rds of the way though the ride...

Yeah, a pink wire it is. The dim lighting in my room gave me a false sense of color.

If the pink is the 12v constant - the striped wire can be a ground.

Gonna use t-tap connectors, so I don't really have to cut stuff.

True. Is it a safe bet that the red wire is the ground, and the black/orange one is the 12v source

Thanks! There is a wiring harness that runs just behind and to the right of the passengers side air bag...wonder if I can splice in to that?

Wiring up glove box light

I just got one from ebay and it came with the harness which my car was not given from the factory. It has two wires, a red one and a black w/orange stripe. Question is - is where is the best place to wire these too? I don't want to be hacking into too many wiring harnesses. Also does anybody know if...

My '05 has 73K.

She works 2 miles from home, so as you can see the mileage really doesn't rack up - except when I take it on long interstate trips.

Mom's '02 ATX finally hit 40K

I was on the way home from Sarasota FL the other day, and managed to get this with my crappy cell phone cam. 8 years and 40K, not too shabby. I was on the interstate BTW so that's why I'm doin' 80

I now officially have my secondaries opening! I used the sneakers o tooles how to and it worked great! There is minimal wiring showing, most of it (relay etc) I concealed inside the kick panel on the drivers side. I placed the 8969 in the cubby hole at the front of the center console for easy access...

I am going to take a few more photos soon. I just had a new alignment done since my new strut install.

The tires now have a nice camber angle to them - had the dealer spec to '02 ACR and then some.

"A" for effort

"fail" for taste...IMO

We are all open to our opinions, I am on overly simple person so this too over the top, but the "A" for effort is well deserved.

Help me with a caption

This is a photo of my friends (and old college roommate) '01 Focus. It was fast at one point able to run high 14's all day long (all motor), but alas time has crept up, and what was once a nice turbo project has turned into this... It's been this way for over two years now, just getting towed from h...
