The whole dash.... Please don't tell me the steering wheel too. This sounds like it's going to be a hugee pain. I have a copy of the FSM on my computer, but I don't know if I'm up for the task. Can I still drive the car with the dash apart.. providing the steering wheel stays on? I might just have t...

Sweet coolant smell from heater..

I almost positive that when I turn my heat up, it has a faint smell of antifreeze. I know it's nothing else because antifreeze just has that unique sweet smell to it. It only does it when I blow warm to hot air. Thing is, I have no leaks anywhere.. as far as I can tell. My level in the engine is alw...

Resurrecting an old post, but I just put SRT springs on my R/T, and I'm slightly disappointed. I was hoping of more of a drop. My fronts did not drop at all, and might even be 1/2 inch higher, and my rear dropped just a small amount. I did go driving some, and I do have to say the ride feels much be...

I dont know other brand part numbers, but just go by the length. All of the belt part numbers have the length in them. 4040310 for example is a 31 inch belt. Find the equivalent with a different brand.

Thanks guys. Forgot to mention, her car used to stall out some in the past she told me, but with new spark plugs that problem went away. IDK. I'm going to look into what it could be. If it was my car, I'd have it fixed asap, start swapping out sensors, wires, everything, and get the heat working asa...

Need some help with my girlfriends car..

She drives a 1997 Mercury Sable, and I need some general advice. It has two main issues: First, it has a hard time starting up. Fuel has pressure, spark plugs are new, and has new wires. I will be getting my multimeter out to do some more diagnostics. Any other ideas of what may be causing a hard st...

I drive by miles. The gauge in my SRT swapped cluster is pretty accurate, but not near the bottom. Sometimes my needle will be sitting on the peg, with the fuel light on, but not flashing. When it starts flashing is when I start worrying. The most I ever put in my tank after it flashing was about 11...

It's not going to kill your car. I just pull the fuel pump fuse to clear it whenever it comes. Mine did a P0441 last time, but I reset it, and hasn't been back in about a month. I'm still using my locking gas cap though

Is it possible to replace the seat "track?"

Image

As you can see, mine is getting really rusty. I feel this is a safety issue in an accident, as I don't want my seat coming loose. Is it possible to just replace the track and metal stuff, while retaining my seat?

Thanks. I didn't know this worked for 2nd gens. I did this same mod to my first gen and it sure is helpful when you don't need the ac running.

Replace it yourself. A 5 year old can do it. I paid 20.99 at Autozone for my replacement, and it has a 2 year warrenty. I took the battery out to access it easier. There's also a how to floating around. Good luck
