Hehe... Seriously I have no idea when or if i can get back to this. Just landed myself a new home so I'm dealing with getting settled into a new lifestyle and more bills. I think about the project from time to time, I just don't have the time to dedicate to it right now. Not like i did before :( Add...

Hello everyone! Have a good day Hello! I did thank you! :) Funny that I saw this, because I was literally coming in here to just say hello. I've been very busy with my job and finishing up on the purchase of a condo. I don't have much time anymore to do any work on my car, show the car or drive it ...

So the issue at this point in time seems to have gone away. She hasn't seemed to have the same power as before, but i'm not throwing codes anymore at this point. I did just finish replacing the ignition coil pack. While I was picking that up the parts counter guy was telling me that heat could cause...

Re: Need assistance

generally there's only so many things that would cause the P0300 and P0301. things to check would be plugs, wires, coil, injectors, and valves. now if you add in the P2074 (map/tps correlation, high flow/vac leak) that would lead me to think either somehow an intake valve got messed up or the o-ring...

Need assistance

So Audry is getting some codes. P2074, P0300, P0301 Now, what i've found out so far is that my spark plug wires were bad and i also had a broken spark plug in the 1st cylinder. Replaced the all the spark plugs and the wires and the code came back. Took it to the shop and they looked at it and could ...

Ride quality is just perspective. :) I like a firm ride being able to feel if i were to drive over a quarter. This is also probably why my dampening settings are set to pretty damn firm. Regardless, one thing I will give the BCs is that they do perform well for a daily and transition well over to th...

You can make any thing work depending on how much work you want to do. Simply, you'll need the steering rack. Otherwise you'll have a lot of work cut out trying to get everything else to work

KYBs handle 75k miles on sportlines for me traveling all up and down the west coast and our "awesome" roads. That is a pretty hefty drop and I didn't drive miss daisy, I gave them their due work out.

some tracks area also not allowing just the DOT raiting anymore either. They are now requiring the helmets that have a SA2005 raiting or newer. The SA2005 helmets do come in open face. I'm looking st doing my first auto cross this year. Audry has been very temperamental the past years so hopefully ...

If you're looking to go low with disregard to performance, then airbags may be what you should be looking into. Now being on a budget you may just want to go with some good springs (Eibach Sportlines) & struts. Now, I've heard good things about KW coilovers, but I've not experienced them to know how...

with that in mind, you'll save more money doing it all 4 at once and getting the car properly aligned. Otherwise you'll be loosing money in either multiple alignments or unnecessary wear do to poor alignment.

You really should replace both at the same time. This will save you monty in the long run from having to do it again two month s from now and the extra time/alignments.

You could do a couple things. 1) you could cut a slot into the top of the nut as if to make a screw head out of it. Then you can use a screw driver to hold it in place while you use a wrench to loosen the nut on the bolt. 2) if you are replacing the struts with coil overs they should have their own ...
