Thank you! My only question now is if it is indeed possible to run an inline fuse holder to get me around in the short term?

Melted Fuse Question

So my headlights died the other day. Checked the fuses, and #16 is melted away. Just gone. The plan is to hunt down a new fuse box, but for now i do not have the time and need those headlights. I have read that a short-term solution is to use an inline fuse holder etc. Question. Looking at the back ...

PN request Make-up air hose elbow

I am not sure what it is called. The 90 degree elbow out of the back of the valve cover that attaches to the plastic hose. Some sites call it the make up air hose, but i do not need the hose. I need the elbow. All the generic ones i have picked up fit terribly. All i have house is this pic pointing ...

Finding a vacuum Leak

Back again gentleman: Tried for a roadtrip today, a week late from all my other car issues. Got her up to 65 mph, felt a rough shudder, and threw a code. P0068 I know it is a MAF/MAP sensor-throttle correlation problem. I have had it in the past when i put on my new TB. But that went away years ago....

The fluid was ATF + 4.

Took it for a run today. It shifts just fine into 4th gear.

Tried it in "3", and it was not as bad, but still was there. Not just the tach, since i could feel it/hear it as well.

Tach/Rpm jumping

So i could not find this in the search, so here it goes: Trying to get ready for a road-trip here, so i got my laundry list of car stuff started. Today I flush and filled the trans fluid, new plugs, new plug wires, and changed the oil. Took it out for a drive, and at 40mph the tach/rpms jump if i ea...

I have found a few, like Murray brand through my O'reillys, that are SUPPOSEDLY exact match. It looks like i should be prepared no matter what to do some work on the cooler. The only reason i have not just gotten an OEM is my dad had an 04 neon that has the sudden massive radiator failure and took t...

Radiator Options

So i need a new radiator after 10 years. I am looking for options. Forgive me if these have been posted already, but the forum search turned up nothing. I have a 2003 SXT AUTO. The options i have seen so farm especially on modernperformance, show that aftermarket radiators are not set up for my extr...

Fuel Pump Swap

My fuel pump is dying, and the junkyard is lame in terms of parts to grab.

I need to know what year fuel pumps will swap into my neon. Will only 03+ work, or can i fine a 2001-02 to tear into.

BTW i am driving a 2003 SXT. If you are selling a pump would love to hear from you.

THANKS!!

For the price I have almost resigned myself to getting them again. I am not an aggressive driver and do try to take care of my tires, so I really have no idea why they didn't last like they should have. They were a fine set of tires before they seemed to go bald overnight. Sigh. What I need to know ...

Stock-size new tire suggestions

It is time to replace my tires, and i need some input on new rubber. I am currently running Yoko Avids (185/60R15), and am looking for the same size tire. I like how the Yoko's feel, but they lasted about 20K less than rated for. And i do take care to rotate them and keep them as they should be lol....

Power window problem!

My power window died, and i would have just left it except it was stuck down. Took the trim off the door to see the issue, but i cant tell if it is the regulator or motor. BUT...I have little white plastic pieces all over the inside of the door that obviously broke off something. I am leaning toward...

Sticking Pedal / stuck pedal

I have been having a recurring problem for about 6 months now. When I hit the gas, my gas pedal sticks a bit, and after i apply more pressure, it lurches forward. I thought it was the unusually brutal chicago winter we had this year, but now it is 70 degrees and i still have the problem. I have neve...

my thoughts exactly. My bet, knowing howell auto lol, is that they will give you some JET product in fancy packaging for $800 and claim it as the cure for the NGC.....

as has been said, i will believe it when the dyno numbers from 2GN MEMBERS proves it......

Foglight bulb change question

I blew a fog bulb, and i am wondering if i can just unscrew the housing and pull them foward to change the bulb, or if my only option is to break my hand in order to change them from underneath?
