Yes, Josh... The "knocking" sound was certainly coming from the turbo getting gradually a little looser. Because... now the knocking is certainly GONE. Everything sounds tight and tidy again.

David, before you bolt the coil pack back on, take a picture of the turbo mounting flange where we had to replace the bolts. And post it on here...

Yeah, David and I have gone back and forth about that quite a bit... and... it is definitely the clutch. The dynamics of what happens, what we feel... is definitely NOT the tires.
