So... I realize that this forum format is largely unused at this point, but still... thought that I would include here that the Turbodudey/quicksilvr (but owned by me, TurboVanDan) yellow 2002 Dodge Neon ES has had MS3Pro installed by me and Josh (Turbodudey), and is currently in the process of havi...

Quicksilvr needs to get this car... so I can drive it too. PLUS, we can then take TWO Neons to Carlisle...

I have memories in this car... drove it 1200 miles in 19 hours one time.

Yes, Josh... The "knocking" sound was certainly coming from the turbo getting gradually a little looser. Because... now the knocking is certainly GONE. Everything sounds tight and tidy again.

Yeah, David and I have gone back and forth about that quite a bit... and... it is definitely the clutch. The dynamics of what happens, what we feel... is definitely NOT the tires. Definitely IS the clutch. This particular clutch has a 395 ft lb rating... we apparently need, well... more. Do you happ...

Well said Josh. Thank you for shining notable light on this curious situation. I also sense (without actually having had the car on a dyno yet) that there is a very strong "bulge" of torque at a relatively low RPM. And (also seat of the pants here), the torque curve stays very robust PAST 6000 RPM. ...
