Shifter linkage snapped? Please help

Hello, I was just wondering if this is the proper term for the part, "shifter linkage"? Is this a relatively easy diy job? Would this be a part that can only be ordered from the dealer, or would i be able to pick one up from the junk yard? Thanks in advance for your help! Mike http://i4.photobucket....

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know, just in case someone else runs into this problem, the end results. I had to heat the knuckle with the torch and then pound the bolt until flush with the knuckle. At this point it was pretty severely mangled and bent making the job even easier lol. Then use a ...

Diablo-- Didnt realize that fastenal.com was potentially a local store. I went to their website and there is a store located relatively close to me, so once this nightmare of a bolt has been removed, I'll head over to them. Thank you for the heads up on that place!! Also, not that it makes any real ...

Hey, Just wanted to get back to you guys, thanks again... In my haste to do the swap, I found the "how to" here on the forum and started on my way. Am I heating up the length of the bolt? Also, can I pick up a new bolt to use? The one thats in there now... the end is shot and cannot ...

Lower control arm "long bolt" problems?? Please he

Hey guys, Ive got a quick question. While doing a rear disc conversion I seem to have ran into a problem. The lower long control arm bolt is completely stuck and will not budge. I have tried coaxing it with vibration (via 1/2 impact wrench, ratchet w/breaker bar for leverage, trying to tap it on the...

Hey,
I also just found a couple of other R/T engines, 02 this time. Would that engine swap in without to much complication? I am still going under the assumption of the engine being blown? What all would be involved in this swap?
Thanks again,
Mike
