CV axle has light rust on axle stub, what should I do?
I left a CV axle outside but under the patio cover, but it got a thin layer of rust on it. It's the topmost one in this picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/arrospeed/Neon/20140817_122914.jpg Can if be reconditioned? Also the hub end: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/arrospeed/Neon/...

'00 ATX-2-MTX: shift interlock cable? what is it?
I'm finally pulling my ATX to swap in the MTX on my '00. I removed the two cables from the shifter. I was wondering what to do with that second thin cable that was attached to the ATX shifter... Haynes manual calls it the shift interlock. Is that their fancy name for a park/neutral safety switch? Is...

So you don't think it's the pump? I already bought an MPx Wally 255 kit and 58 psi regulator. I figure might as well put it in. If the pump still doesn't work then I will have to check wiring. I'm in the process of also pulling out the ATX so there's no battery, but I will worry about the fuel once ...

i can smell fuel in the cab, fuel gauge also acts strange
Ok so we believe the fuel pump died. Key turned on, disconnected line at firewall in engine bay, no fuel. So we ordered the MPx Walbro kit and the Mopar 58 lb.regulator. Got the tank out thanks to the guide on here by quicksilver ... and we got to thinking...... when we filled the tank up, sometimes...

Yep Justin that's exactly what the case is with this one. It's a new mount though, doesn't look like it has ever been used, so for now I will put it in as is until I locate an OEM with decent condition rubber. HEY I also need an upper motor mount bolt, broke the one in the SRT and had to steal the o...

Ahhh... I have a trans mount on this MTX I bought but when I bought the urethane mount inserts they won't fit... looking at pictures it seems I don't have a genuine Mopar mount so the holes in the rubber aren't where they are supposed to be for the insert to work. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v...

'00 MTX trans mount vs. SRT-4 trans mount
Are the '00 MTX trans mounts the same or similar (swappable) with SRT-4 trans mounts?

So you're saying the Sebring V6 clutch is weaker than the OEM SRT clutch? See, I haven't replaced this clutch and I think my TOB needs to be replaced... and I think I need to replace a worn clutch fork... so.... see where I'm headed with this? Of course, if it's *weaker* than the stock SRT clutch, t...

Is te Sebring V6 clutch an option for the SRT transmission?
I was just wondering.... do the 2GN and SRT use compatible clutches?
I have a Sebring V6 clutch, new with TOB.... can I use it?

Some of it is probably due to the transmission twisting back and forth under hard shifting, because it repositions the shifter cables. Solid mounts (or inserts) would eliminate a lot of that.... buuuuut... that worn shift fork issue also contributes to proper engagement of the clutch, so..... try mo...

Do you have that LM-1? They no longer make that anymore. All the time and trouble you would have trying to do that you could just get a bung welded on and use a wideband with better data. If you found a LM-1 to use they go for like $400. A decent wideband can be had for around $150. No not a full L...

Yeah I'm not sure where it will end up. Or if most of the time I might just rock my phone with it instead, and run mostly alerts with like two or three desired readouts. That's the thing tho... it's flexible. And... a tablet sized device can better use the HUD mode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI...

I would agree with you, except that I already had the tablet, the program is 5 bux, and the adapter was 12. There are way more readouts including a/f and knock and other things. This doesn't replace an InTune because it can't program. But it's a cheap and easy and fun way to keep tabs on things, it ...

Since I bought my SRT-4 in Dec, I spent most of the year just... *driving* it. Bump due to college killing my free time until summer... Dante, the non-SRT pro-comps don't backlight, they reflect illuminate. It wouldn't pass because of the VIN. Most states would have trouble allowing that. In some states, there are looser grey market importing laws and they create a VIN for the car... that is what was done with my Japanese imported Silvia. But this isn't an imported car. They would require it to meet 20...
