The tossing around of Barracuda and 'Cuda referring to the same vehicle. Hmmm,I put two clutches in the neon and never changed the Master/Slave. I'm not sure if a new Mopar replacement can even be obtained anymore, now that I plan to install a fresh unit in my 2000 project. Being the hydraulics have 210,000 miles and 20 years on them. I'm sure if I use the Stratus V6 clu...

LOL, I tangled with a large racoon last Friday morning on my way to work. It ran out, made it across both lanes, then circled back and nailed my already deer mangled front fascia. I hit it at about 35 mph as I was already braking. When it hit the rear tires, it actually moved the rear sideways a few...

Re: BANHOFF CLUTCHES
I probably had about 60,000 miles on it (Banhoff) when I parked the '01. It was just a stock replacement grade clutch, so maybe that's a factor. It was still holding/functioning, just not much feel for engagement or confidence inspiring, for performance stuff. But for a normally driven DD, it would ...

I was trying to figure out why the hood looked so odd, compared to black hoods I have seen on other 2gn's, and it dawned on me that the cowl screen is silver.

Re: Random posting
Probably the smartest move, despite the red one being an ACR. Given the general (non sentimental) value of these, you would likely never recoup the money spent trying to save the ACR. Basically why I bought the shell of the Dark Jewel from Chris. The '01 needed probably over $4000 worth of body work...

Re: Random posting
I used NGK iridium plugs in the Subaru, and they did pretty well.
Both times I changed them at 80,000+ miles, and while the fine tip was gone on 3 out of 4, the engine still ran fine. I'm sure the coil pack was still getting a work out.
I believe I got them from eBay. Maybe I got lucky...

Re: Random posting
It doesn't help that Christmas is so commercialized, overshadowing what it is really about. Not pushing any religion or beliefs here, just stating the facts. It is a double edged sword. If it wasn't so commercialized/never was commercialized, it would be just another day in life for a lot of folks, ...

All seasons will get you through with AWD, but you still need to be wary. I will take winter rated tires/FWD over all seasons/AWD. My neon had little trouble with the winter rated tires. The Subaru with all seasons doesn't have too much trouble moving forward, but steering/stopping and general stabi...

Hopefully the fluid helps, but it's a long shot. I can't say I seen much difference between Redline MTL and Penzoil Synchromesh. Possibly under truly extreme conditions, the Redline may have an edge, but normal stuff, I would say most fluids aren't going to make much of a change. I think the Synchro...
